まず、前回レポートから引き継がれる最も重要な一つの答えから始める。リサーチ基準日である2026年6月3日(アジア/東京時間)の時点で、Broadcom の FY2026 Q2 決算はまだ公表されていなかった。 同社の IR カレンダーは Q2 2026 決算説明会を米国東部時間6月3日17:00 に設定しており、これは東京時間では6月4日の早朝近くにあたる。したがって前回レポートが 「Q2 の AI 売上高が約107億ドルのガイダンスを達成するか」 を最初の検証ポイントに据えたのは正しかったが、本レポートの締切時点では、その最も重要な新証拠についてはまだ公表結果が存在しない。

本レポートのレーティングは前回比で引き下げである。「ウォッチ」から「回避」へ。 理由はファンダメンタルズが突然悪化したからではない——むしろ逆だ。Q1 と新たな顧客側の契約は、事業の質がなお強いことを示しており、旧レポートが最も懸念した「AI 失速」は直近の開示データには現れていない。 問題はこうだ。株価は前回レポートの参照水準をさらに上回って上昇した一方、最も重要な新たな検証ポイント——Q2 の実際の AI 売上高と、利益・キャッシュフローの達成——はまだ開示されていない。 言い換えれば、決算発表を前にして投資家はすでに、より遠く、より楽観的な Google/Meta/Anthropic 拡大ナラティブを株価に前払いしてしまった。直近の AVGO の株価は 481.57ドル 前後であり、これは「確認後の上昇」ではなく、むしろ「確認前に好材料をすべて買う」に対応する。

旧レポートとの乖離を一行で捉えるなら、こうなる。旧レポートはより「優れた企業、割高」に近かった。本レポートは「優れた企業、ただし開示すらされていない重要な検証ポイントをすでに織り込んでしまった価格」により近い。 これは論理の反転ではなく より厳格なバリュエーション規律 である。

リサーチ要約

今日の Broadcom はもはや純粋なチップ企業ではない。その核心は希少な「ツインエンジン・プラットフォーム」である。一方には 参入障壁が高く顧客密着型のカスタム ASIC、イーサネットスイッチング、コネクティビティ、ストレージ半導体 があり、もう一方には VMware、メインフレームソフトウェア、エンタープライズソフトウェア、セキュリティ製品から成る インフラソフトウェアのキャッシュフロー・プラットフォーム がある。FY2025 までにこの二つの事業はそれぞれ売上 368.58億ドル270.29億ドル を貢献し、その規模はすでに「並立する複占」に近づいている。営業利益レベルでもそれぞれ 212.32億ドル207.65億ドル を貢献しており、Broadcom のソフトウェアが物語の飾りではなく真の利益エンジンであることを示している。

だが、最も重要な強気・弱気の対立はまさにここから生じる。強気派はこう言う。これは伝統的な景気循環型チップ企業ではなく、Google、Meta、Anthropic といった顧客との長期契約によってロックインされた AI インフラの一部であり、ソフトウェア側は VMware を通じてキャッシュフローとマージンの下限を提供する。 弱気派はこう言う。まさに市場がこの「ほぼ完璧な AI 実行+安定したソフトウェアの収益化」をすでに価格に織り込んだがゆえに、Broadcom の現在の株価はいかなる単一変数についてもほとんど誤りの余地を残していない——Q2 の AI 売上高が107億ドルに届かない、VMware パートナーエコシステムがさらに悪化する、カスタムシリコンにマージンが引き下げられる、SBC が一株当たり利益を侵食し続ける——このいずれか一つでもバリュエーションを先に収縮させるに十分だ。 この角度から見れば、Broadcom は「ファンダメンタルズ上最も危険」な地点にあるのではなく、期待値の上で最も危険 な地点にある。

肖像ラベルが必要なら、私は Broadcom をこう定義する。「はるか先までの、ほぼ最大限に楽観的な AI 達成を市場にプライシングされている高品質なコンパウンディング成長企業」。 これは決してバブル企業ではなく、単純な景気反転株でもなく、会計を通じて EPS を支えるソフトウェアの物語でもない。だが「どんなに割高でも買う価値がある」という無限のプライシングパワーを持つ資産でもない。Broadcom の最も希少な資質は、半導体ではめったに見られない資産軽量・キャッシュ潤沢・高いスイッチングコストという特性を真に備えている点だ。Broadcom の現在の最大の問題もまた、工場や研究室で生じているのではなく、株価がすでに今後2〜3年の追い風をほぼすべて織り込んでしまっている という事実にある。

企業の沿革と財務レビュー

HP の分社からグローバルインフラ・プラットフォームへ

Broadcom の現在は、現在の社名から始まったわけではない。その企業の血統は Hewlett-Packard、そして Agilent の半導体事業へと遡る。2005年、KKR と Silver Lake は約 27億ドル の取引で Agilent の半導体製品グループの買収を支援し、そこから Avago が育った。資本は当初から「一つの優れた単一製品企業を築く」ためではなく、高粗利・高交渉力・スケール可能な技術資産を統合し続けられるプラットフォームを築く ために存在した。Hock Tan は 2006年3月 に CEO に就任し、この出来事はのちに Broadcom の経営スタイル全体をほぼ定義することになる。

各フェーズが実際に残したもの

Avago が初期に残した最大の長期的遺産は、特定の製品ではなく 組織と財務のスタイル だった。ビジョンを語るより、粗利・経費・現金回収を語る。のちに、Broadcom の大型買収のほとんどは、まず「払いすぎではないか、バランスシートを毀損しないか」という市場の懐疑を呼んだ。だが Broadcom は何度も、マージン・キャッシュフロー・コスト削減を通じて、自らが得意とするのは「地図を組み立てること」ではなく「すでに成熟したインフラレイヤーでの効率再プライシング」であることを証明した。これこそが、FY2025 の規模に至ってもなお設備投資を 6.23億ドル、売上の 約1% に抑えられた理由でもある。

利益の質について、Broadcom には大半の高成長テック株とは逆の特徴が長らくある。会計上の利益は保守的でなく、むしろキャッシュフローの方がしばしば強い。 FY2025 の GAAP 純利益は 231.26億ドル、営業キャッシュフローは 275.37億ドル。直近開示の4四半期合計では、営業キャッシュフローは約 296.84億ドル、GAAP 純利益は約 249.72億ドル だった。言い換えれば、Broadcom の問題は「現金化できない利益」では決してなく、「株価が将来のキャッシュフローを一度に買いすぎていないか」だ。

Broadcom の株価は一直線に上昇したわけではない。2024年6月、市場は通年ガイダンスと AI 需要の上方修正で Broadcom を大きく押し上げた。2025年12月には、カスタム AI シリコンのマージンが低く将来の粗利が圧迫されかねないとして、Broadcom は決算後 11% 超下落した。だが2026年3月、経営陣が Q1 の AI 売上高 84億ドル を報告し、Q2 の AI ガイダンスを 107億ドル へ引き上げ、2027年の AI チップ売上について 1000億ドル超 の「見通しが立っている」と主張すると、市場はそれを再び成長コア陣営へ押し戻した。言い換えれば、この株のボラティリティはもはや主に「四半期が上振れするか」を巡って回るのではなく、AI 受注の見通しとマージンの持続性 を巡って再プライシングされる。

半導体側では、真の利益コアがますます カスタム AI アクセラレータと AI ネットワーキング に集中している。Broadcom は10-K で、FY2025 の半導体成長が主に AI 関連製品によって駆動されたと明確に述べている。2024年の AI インフラ説明資料で、同社はすでに半導体売上に占める AI の比率を FY2024 目標で 35% 超へと描き、複数の XPU 顧客が量産からランプへ移行していることを示していた。これは AI において、Broadcom が「任意の補助的サプライヤー」ではなく、ますますカスタムソリューションの要の位置に立っていることを示す。

堀は実際にどこにあるか

まず 企業肖像スコア から始める。 ファンダメンタルズの質:高い。 成長性:高い。 堀:強い。 財務の健全性:中の上。 経営の信頼性:高い。 バリュエーションの魅力:低い。 リスクレベル:高い。 より適した投資家:バリュエーション規律を企業の誇大宣伝より優先できる長期成長投資家。 「良い企業」を「今すぐ買う」と同一視する、普通のモメンタム追随型投資家には適さない。

次に 投資レーティング。 レーティング:回避。 一行の投資論旨:企業はなお良いが、現在株価はすでに、Q2 を前にして検証されていない AI 楽観を先回りしてしまった。
