The market has already priced the AI tailwind into the stock in advance. There is another hidden risk: about $4.6 billion on the company's balance sheet consists of acquisition premiums paid above book value (goodwill), plus intangible assets such as patents and brands. Together, these two items account for nearly seven-tenths of total assets. If AI demand cools or acquired businesses fall short of expectations, this amount could be written down sharply and weigh on profit.
So the report rates the stock as Hold: the current price of 162.86 dollars is not outrageously expensive, but it is not cheap enough to justify buying either. Its view is that it would be more attractive to consider acting after the share price falls below 130 dollars, or after clearer positive developments emerge.

The company's core 2024-2026 narrative is "AI data-center picks and shovels".
