As the installed base expands, Installed Base Management, a sticky and relatively stable revenue stream, keeps compounding. IBM sales were €8.19 billion in 2025, up 26.2% year over year, faster than system sales at 12.4%. A rising aftermarket mix improves both gross-margin stability and predictability. This is the positive flywheel of “the larger the scale, the better the business quality.”
